About
Us & Faith Mountain Farm
In the Fall of 1998 our little farm, nestled near the Blue Ridge Parkway, was
established. We both came from a metropolitan area and wanted to begin a simpler
lifestyle. We love animals and since Bill was raised on goat’s milk, we decided to purchase a few dairy goats to supply us with that wonderful white liquid gold!
Our first two goats, Dumpling and Biscuit, helped us accomplish that goal when they freshened in 1999. To our amazement, we found that we had more milk than we could ever use. Our friend, who sold us our goats, came over and introduced us to the fine art of
soap making using goat’s milk. We were hooked and the rest is history.
Our farm is blessed with 3 dogs,
4 cats as well as numerous chickens, ducks and
guinea fowl. Our goat herd is composed of 12 adults and we have a sweet Jerusalem donkey
to protect them, (although the goats think they are perfectly capable of taking care of
themselves.)
Our days here at Faith Mountain Farm are filled to the brim and overflowing! Top
priority in the mornings is feeding our animals. These include our dairy herd, as well as
our Boer goats, Jerusalem donkey, and our flock of chickens. This is followed quickly by the feeding of our
bodies and souls and that gets us moving in the right direction for the day. Our dairy
herd is milked each day while our soap products are made Monday through
Friday of each
week. |

Licorice and Coffee Bean
Catching a snooze and a breeze on Faith Mountain Farm.
Each Fall we add to our product line our therapy bags,
(Snuggle Buddies, Bed Buddies and Pocket Pals) for
helping to ease aches and pains away. We are currently selling our soaps at craft shows
and gift shops in our area and other states. We also take orders for gift baskets and ship all of our orders throughout the US. In the years we
have been making soap we have been blessed with many faithful customers and we thank them
for helping us grow.

Sundays are filled with attending church, feeding, milking and caring for our
animals....and resting. This rounds out our week and starts our new week helping us feel
more refreshed and ready to begin our fun packed days all over again.
